How you create impact
- Act as the main commercial contact for a portfolio of National Key Accounts, representing Kuehne+Nagel across all products and business units.Manage the customer journey end‑to‑end, including relationship management, business development, proposals, negotiations, execution, and performance follow‑up.
- Develop, execute, and maintain Account Plans and agreed growth strategies with customers.
- Identify, develop, and capture new business opportunities, including new business, up‑selling, and cross‑selling, ensuring a healthy pipeline and sustainable growth.Act as the voice of the customer within Kuehne+Nagel, coordinating internal stakeholders such as Business Units, Pricing, Operations, Products, Verticals, and international KAMs.
- Lead commercial negotiations, RFQs, and contracts in collaboration with Pricing and Business Units.
- Conduct structured customer reviews (CBRs and strategic meetings), monitoring KPIs, service levels, performance, and opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Monitor commercial and financial performance of accounts, including pipeline, wins/losses, volumes, revenue, and margin, taking corrective actions when needed.
- Ensure correct use of Kuehne+Nagel commercial processes and systems, ensuring visibility, governance, and compliance.
- Act as a role model for compliance, ethics, and HSE, aligned with global company standards.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or related fields.
- 5–10 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Commercial roles, preferably managing national or strategic accounts.
- Proven experience managing complex commercial relationships and multi‑stakeholder environments.
- Strong background in business development, strategic account management, and commercial negotiations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute Account Plans and growth strategies.Ability to coordinate and influence multiple stakeholders across business units and functions.
- Strong strategic mindset with a clear focus on performance, results, and value creation.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship‑management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience tracking commercial and financial performance.Languages: Portuguese (Fluent), English (Advanced), Spanish (Intermediate).
- Availability to travel as required.
