Sea Logistics ISC Customer Care personnel play a vital role in the ISC dept, ensuring the seamless coordination of transport activities for customer shipments. All activities are to be executed in compliance with the rules and regulations governing sea transport and national protocols. Proactively advising and consulting with customers to enhance satisfaction and coordinating with customers, haulers, and carriers to facilitate the export of shipments. To be accountable for maintaining excellent service for our internal and external customers.
How you create impact
- To pro actively advise and consult to ensure customer satisfaction
- To create/ Complete shipment details in our internal data management system (Carrier/ Vessel, Item description etc)
- To coordinate with customer , haulers and carriers for the export of shipment
- To create files for consolidation container (Master / Single) and cargo planning
- To review and insure alignment of shipping instructions , export compliance and rate and routing information into consideration
- To make sure accurate cost and invoice entry
- To ensure profit maximization
- To immediately report problems, operation disputes or discrepancies to supervisor, manager, divisional manager or branch manager
- To monitor performance of carriers, vendors and escalate / create awareness if performance and commitments are not being delivered
- To acknowledge supplier invoices in ACON and validating cost
- Reporting (creating, refining and reviewing reports)
What we would like you to bring
- Logistics & Compliance: Knowledge of international shipping, DG regulations, and export compliance.
- System Proficiency: Experience with Transport Management Systems and data accuracy.
- Documentation: Ability to prepare shipping documents and ensure regulatory alignment.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong attention to detail for discrepancies and invoice checks.
- Communication: Effective coordination with stakeholders and vendors.
- Cost Awareness: Understanding of cost/revenue management and profit optimization.
- Time Management: Ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritize tasks.
