Consider joining our team as a Contract Logistics Inventory Team Lead at our Jupiter, Florida location. In this important role, you will be responsible for managing warehouse inventory accuracy, leading cycle counts, and coordinating various team activities within the Contract Logistics department. The Inventory Team Lead will also address inventory discrepancies, optimize storage solutions for efficiency, and utilize ERP systems to maintain ideal inventory levels. Additionally, you will provide training to team members on safe and efficient procedures designed to minimize loss and enhance overall operational effectiveness. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a weekly payment rate of $24.00 per hour.

How you create impact

Duties and Responsibilites 

  • Maintain high-level inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation
  • Resolve discrepancies. Research and document inventory variances and prepare reports for supervisor
  • Lead a team of inventory clerks or associates, managing daily tasks, schedules, and training
  • Demonstrate proficiency in warehouse management software and RF scanners, with the capability to effectively train others
  • Train, coach, and supervise inventory associates to meet accurate targets
  • Collaborate with supervisors to optimize workflows and resolve discrepancies
  • Enforce OSHA regulations and company health and safety standards
  • Ability to operate forklifts and handheld scanning devices 
  • Previous experience in warehouse inventory control, including supervisory or lead roles
  • Proficiency in inventory software (WMS/ERP) and Microsoft Office/spreadsheets
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze data for stock discrepancies
  • Mastering effective communication techniques to enhance collaboration with suppliers and warehouse teams

What we would like you to bring

Skills and Experience 

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent
  • Two years of experience in a warehousing environment, including at least one year of recent supervisory experience.
  • One year of experience in inventory management, including conducting cycle counts.
  • One year of experience with Excel, proficient in accurate data entry and managing complex spreadsheets.
  • Experience in operating forklifts
  • Applicants must hold U.S. citizenship.
