How you create impact

We are seeking an Air Logistics Healthcare Operational Care Specialist to handle and monitor all QuickSTAT consignments moving through our JFK facility. This role ensures full compliance with company policies, supports seamless coordination across internal teams, and contributes directly to exceptional client satisfaction.   • Process all import and export consignments as they move through the JFK facility
  • Complete “Goods In” and “Goods Out” procedures, including documentation review, piece counts, weight and dimension checks, and re‑icing when required
  • Prepare temperature‑controlled packaging solutions (PCM, Liquid Nitrogen, Dry Ice) based on client requirements
  • Select and prepare temperature loggers and GPS trackers
  • Perform and record quality checks on reusable temperature‑controlled packaging
  • Assist with cleaning, restocking, and updating system records for reusable packaging inventory
  • Communicate discrepancies clearly and promptly
  • Support other operational departments during staffing shortages
  • Serve and coordinate with both employed and subcontractor drivers
  • Load and unload vehicles manually or using a forklift
  • Prepare consolidated consignments for transfer to other Quick International facilities
  • Enter key milestone data accurately into internal systems
  • Monitor the departmental mailbox, including new packaging bookings and internal inquiries
  • Handle internal and external phone inquiries efficiently
  • Maintain high hygiene standards within the facility
  • Keep management informed of potential or confirmed issues
  • Provide clear shift reports and handovers as needed

What we would like you to bring

  • 2+ years of experience in the air freight industry, including freight forwarding, airline operations, or pharmaceutical logistics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and basic Excel
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high operational standards

Base wage is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
