The Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate shipment files to support smooth shipment execution. This role ensures all key shipment information and milestones are set correctly at the start of the shipment process so operations can proceed on time.
How you create impact
- Create shipment files and validate shipment instructions received from customers or internal stakeholders.
- Perform Pre-Shipment File (PSF) activities to ensure all required shipment information is captured accurately before execution.
- Maintain shipment data, milestones, and critical dates within operational systems.
- Coordinate with internal operational teams to support booking, transportation, and shipment execution activities.
- Monitor shipment progress and resolve operational discrepancies or exceptions.
- Communicate shipment updates and operational requirements with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, customer requirements, and quality standards.
- Support process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
What we would like you to bring
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Sea Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics Operations.
- Experience handling shipment creation, shipment documentation, and operational coordination.
- Understanding of ocean import and/or export processes.
- Ability to manage a high-volume transactional environment,.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and prioritization skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
