This role is at the heart of export operations by ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely booking execution with carriers while keeping customers and internal stakeholders fully aligned. You’ll play a critical role in managing shipment flow, handling time-sensitive bookings, and maintaining high service standards in a fast-paced logistics environment.
How you create impact
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end export booking activities, including creation, submission, and coordination with carriers
- Ensure timely booking confirmations and alignment with shipping schedules
- Upload, maintain, and update shipment details in customer platforms with full accuracy
- Act as the key coordination point between internal teams, carriers, terminals, and depots
- Monitor daily booking status and proactively resolve any issues or delays
- Handle urgent escalations, including after-office-hour follow-ups when required
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders on shipment updates
- Ensure all booking data and documentation are complete, accurate, and compliant
Performance Expectations
- Deliver timely booking turnaround in line with operational requirements
- Maintain high accuracy in booking submissions and data updates
- Consistently meet service levels for booking execution and coordination
- Effectively manage workload in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
What we would like you to bring
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in export booking or export operations (ocean freight preferred)
- Strong ability to work under pressure and manage tight timelines
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly accountable
- Excellent coordination and follow-up skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Comfortable handling urgent matters beyond standard working hours when needed
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Familiar with logistics systems and customer platforms
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
Technical Skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to track, monitor, and manage booking activities on a daily and weekly basis
