The Site Lead Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of cargo yard and warehouse operations project in Sorong.
How you create impact
- Monitor, manage, and track all inbound and outbound cargo activities.
- Ensure accurate reporting of cargo into logistics systems
- Oversee inventory management within the open yard and container storage area.
- Coordinate cargo receiving processes and movement onto barges.
- Maintain accountability of cargo for vessel loading and documentation.
- Work closely with JGC representatives on daily operational coordination.
- Liaise with Petrosea and other vendors to ensure smooth cargo handling and compliance.
- Interface with truck drivers, yard personnel, and delivery vendors on site operations.
- Provide strong on-ground leadership and decision-making at the yard.
- Ensure safety culture is upheld; promote HSE discipline in daily activities.
- Oversee data entry and inventory support work
What we would like you to bring
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3–5 years of relevant operational experience, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector or similar heavy-industry environments.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) is required.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to work with multiple logistics and inventory systems.
- Must be willing to be based onsite in Sorong, Indonesia.
- Strong and confident communicator, able to push back professionally when needed.
- Assertive personality — not easily influenced in vendor-dominant settings.
- Excellent stakeholder management across internal teams, clients, and vendors.
- Capable of working independently in a remote project environment.
