Project Logistics Finance and Admin Manager

Oversees the financial, administrative, and commercial governance of Project Logistics operations. The role ensures cost accuracy, financial transparency, efficient billing, and compliance across complex logistics operations such as EPC logistics, heavy-lift transport, marine operations, and project cargo movements. This position manages a team responsible for Cost Control, Billing, and Assets & Consumables, supporting logistics operations involving vessels, barges, tugs, port handling, and chartering activities.

How you create impact

Financial Governance

  • Ensure financial accuracy across project logistics and marine operations, including chartering, port services, and heavy-lift activities.
  • Review cost reports (vessel day rates, demurrage, deviations) and lead monthly financial closing.

Cost Control

  • Lead cost control for EPC logistics and marine projects.
  • Monitor cost variances and drive corrective actions with operations, chartering, and procurement.

Billing & Revenue Assurance

  • Oversee billing for logistics and marine services (vessel charter, bunker adjustments, port charges, heavy-lift activities).
  • Ensure proper documentation and monitor billing backlog, disputes, and revenue collection.

Asset & Equipment Management

  • Oversee project logistics and marine equipment, ensuring proper cost allocation, maintenance compliance, and safety certification.

Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with contracts, charter party terms, and port regulations.
  • Prepare financial documentation for internal, ISO, and client audits.

Commercial Risk Management

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks such as laytime overruns, charter deviations, vendor disputes, and cost leakage.

Leadership

  • Lead and develop the finance/admin team, set KPIs, and strengthen collaboration with operations, finance, and other stakeholders.

What we would like you to bring

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (CPA, CMA) are an advantage.

Experience

  • 7–12 years of experience in finance, cost control, marine administration, or project logistics.
  • Exposure to marine chartering, heavy-lift/project cargo, EPC logistics, or port/offshore operations is preferred.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience.

Technical Skills

  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar logistics systems and advanced Excel.
  • Understanding of charter party terms, laytime calculations, port tariffs, marine costs, and project accounting.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
