As a Customs Brokerage Specialist, you will be responsible for managing customs declaration activities for import and export shipments, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of customs declarations in compliance with Indonesian customs regulations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to support smooth customs declaration processes, particularly across high-volume Sea and Air shipments.
How you create impact
- Prepare and process PIB (Import Declaration) and PEB (Export Declaration) accurately and in compliance with applicable Indonesian customs regulations.
- Manage customs declaration activities for both Sea and Air freight shipments.
- Ensure customs declarations are complete, accurate and submitted within the required timelines.
- Apply knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations, Incoterms and Free Trade Agreements (FTA), particularly for import processes.
- Prepare customs declarations for Bonded Logistics Centre (Pusat Logistik Berikat / PLB) shipments.
- Expereince in CEISA to process and manage customs declarations.
- Review shipment and commercial documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs requirements.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve declaration-related matters and ensure smooth processing.
- Maintain accuracy and compliance while managing a high-volume customs declaration environment.
- Support operational requirements during periods of increased shipment volumes.
What we would like you to bring
- 2–5 years of relevant Customs Brokerage experience within the freight forwarding industry.
- Hands-on experience with customs declarations for both Sea and Air shipments.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations and customs declaration processes.
- Practical experience preparing PIB and PEB.
- Hands-on experience with CEISA.
- Good knowledge of Incoterms, particularly in relation to import processes.
- Strong knowledge of FTA requirements for import processes; export FTA knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience with Bonded Logistics Centre (PLB / Pusat Logistik Berikat) declarations.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Ability to understand English communication and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Customs certification is not required.
