Inventory Warehouse Supervisor

As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. The Inventory Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels within our facility. You will lead the daily activities of the inventory team, analyze inventory data, and ensure the accuracy of records and transactions. This role also involves developing inventory control procedures, supporting replenishment efforts, and driving continuous improvement. This role will work onsite and Monday- Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm.

How you create impact

  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels and customer demand trends to ensure availability and alignment with operational goals
  • Accurately record, document, and review inventory data and transactions
  • Develop, implement, and update inventory control procedures and policies to reduce costs and minimize losses
  • Provide leadership, training, and guidance to inventory staff to ensure high performance and accountability
  • Assist in the ordering and replenishment of inventory items to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Track inventory changes and prepare detailed reports for management
  • Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain inventory integrity
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a secure warehouse environment

What we would like you to bring

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Previous experience as an Inventory Supervisor or in a similar role
  • Fluent in English and Spanish a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Schedule flexibility is required, including availability for overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts as needed
  • Experience managing unionized staff preferred

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
