Reporting to the Commercial Lines Manager, the Account Manager is a member of the Customer Service team and is responsible for servicing clients within the Commercial Lines division. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, detail oriented and skilled in communication, organization and relationship building. The role will also include exposure to aviation insurance accounts as part of the broader commercial portfolio. Previous aviation insurance experience is not required; training and support will be provided.
How you create impact
- Create and maintain client files, organize documentation and update client activity logs
- Track and follow up on policy documents to ensure they are received in a timely manner
- Prepare client-facing documentation, including invoices, letters, policy documents and certificates of insurance
- Administer the client renewal process and maintain accurate renewal documentation and follow-up
- Work closely with the Account Executive to service and manage day-to-day client activity
- Coordinate account servicing, including review of documentation for routine policy changes, additions, deletions,
renewals and cancellations - Research and investigate information to support strategic decision-making for clients
- Market risks with insurers for coverage placement, independently or in collaboration with the Account Executive as required
- Handle placement and servicing of small business accounts
- Support the servicing and renewal of aviation-related commercial accounts, with guidance and training as
required - Communicate with insurers as required to support the brokering functionManage client accounts by maintaining accurate files, documentation, activity logs, and policy records.

What we would like you to bring
- Minimum 3 years of brokerage experience as an Account Manager or Customer Service Representative, with knowledge of most major commercial markets
- University or college degree/diploma is an asset
- CAIB, CIP, CRM or equivalent designation, or progress toward a designation, is an asset
- RIBO licence required EPIC experience preferred
- Aviation insurance experience is an asset but is not required
- Strong understanding of the Canadian Property and Casualty insurance market
- Interest in learning aviation insurance and expanding technical knowledge across commercial lines

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.
