How you create impact
The IT Infrastructure Specialist/Expert is responsible for ensuring a stable, secure, and reliable infrastructure environment that aligns with corporate standards and best practices. This role serves as a technical expert within the infrastructure domain, supporting the successful delivery of IT projects and initiatives. Key responsibilities include evaluating, recommending, and adopting emerging technologies that can enhance operational efficiency and business value. The specialist/expert ensures that all infrastructure-related tasks required for project implementation are executed effectively, including the deployment of solution designs developed by the Global IT Team.
- Based on business requirements, design, implement, and maintain network and other IT infrastructure components, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and backup solutions, ensuring corporate standards are consistently applied.
- Monitor performance bottlenecks (e.g. network bandwidth or resources on servers), troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure high availability and reliability, and propose improvements.
- Monitor and support the IT service provided by the 3rd-party companies to ensure that agreed service levels are reached.
- Ensure infrastructure security through patch management, access controls, and compliance with IT policies and data protection guidelines.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers for infrastructure implementations, upgrades and support.
- Maintain documentation for network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Provide support for escalated infrastructure-related issues.
- Assist in planning and executing infrastructure projects and technology rollouts.

What we would like you to bring
- Proficient in Microsoft servers, storage technologies, network technologies (WAN, LAN, WIFI)
- Hands-on experience as a member on a project in IT infrastructure environments.
- Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills in English.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, listening and negotiation skills are required.
- Good overview and understanding of current IT infrastructure technology
- Structured and methodical way of working and professional appearance.
- Experience in logistics or transport business is preferred.
- CCNA or equivalent certification preferred.
