Are you passionate about enterprise applications and turning business requirements into effective technology solutions? We are looking for an IT Application Expert to provide technical expertise, consulting, and support for business-critical applications and their integration within our IT landscape. In this role, you will work closely with Business Units, Development, QA teams, and external vendors to ensure the successful implementation, operation, enhancement, and support of applications that drive business success.
How you create impact
- Act as the subject matter expert for assigned applications, providing consultation on application capabilities, architecture, database structures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into high-quality solution design specifications.
- Coordinate with software vendors regarding product enhancements, feature requests, release updates, and issue resolution.
- Support application implementations and upgrades throughout the full lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, user acceptance testing (UAT), and ongoing maintenance.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot incidents, and provide Level 2 and Level 3 support to ensure stability and minimize downtime.
- Maintain system security and documentation, including user access management, authentication controls, role-based permissions, and technical documentation.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working with database technologies such as Oracle and PostgreSQL, including SQL, normalization, indexes, constraints, and triggers.
- Strong ability to gather business requirements, assess needs, and translate them into effective technical and functional solutions.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing relationships with external software vendors.
- Solid understanding of application integration concepts, including web services, SSO, and enterprise system interfaces.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and spoken English; experience with software development technologies such as Python is an advantage.
