Road Logistics Operations Specialist

How you create impact

1. Customer Service, Operations Management & Process Optimization
•    Ensure the efficient execution and continuous optimization of daily operational activities.
•    Communicate daily with KN teams, subcontractors, customers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and identify improvement opportunities.
•    Maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, subcontractors, and business partners.
•    Monitor customer service performance and supplier service execution against agreed service levels.
•    Maintain, monitor, and report customer KPIs, operational KPIs, financial KPIs, and company Goal KPIs.
•    Conduct operations in accordance with SOPs, working instructions, company standards, and customer requirements.
•    Identify opportunities to integrate automation, digitalization, and technology into operational processes.
2. Shipment Coordination & Systems Management
•    Create, update, and complete shipment records in Transport Management Systems (TMS) and other operational platforms.
•    Coordinate transportation activities with all involved stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
•    Monitor system-related KPIs and ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance.
•    Participate in the implementation, testing, enhancement, and deployment of operational and reporting systems.
•    Support the adoption of new technologies, automation initiatives, and operational software solutions.
3. Complaint Handling, Incident & Crisis Management

5. Billing, Finance & Cost Control
•    Ensure timely revenue recognition, invoicing, and gross profit confirmation in accordance with Finance Accounting Policies.
•    Manage billing activities, including customer invoicing, debit note issuance, and revenue verification.
•    Review supplier invoices, debit notes, and accrual records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
•    Investigate and resolve rate discrepancies, billing errors, and financial exceptions.
•    Ensure timely closing of the Forwarding Sub-Ledger (FSL) system and coordinate discrepancy resolution with Operations and Finance teams.
•    Monitor account P&L performance and initiate corrective actions when deviations occur.
•    Manage expense and cost accrual processes, including invoice collection, fuel records, incident-related expenses, and financial KPI improvements.

What we would like you to bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines. Finance/Accounting background is an advantage. 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, Carrier Operations, or related fields.
  • Experience in handling end-to-end shipment operations, including billing and payment processes.
  • Good understanding of cross-border transportation, import/export procedures, and customs clearance.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills; comfortable working with systems, numbers, operational data.
  • Good coordination, planning, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office and logistics-related systems.Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Willing to work overtime and travel when business requires.
