You will be part of our Sales + Marketing team, adding your consultative selling expertise + skills to the delivery of business growth.
How you create impact
Your primary objective will be to develop existing or new business by coordinating all business development actions and triggering opportunities within your specified vertical for larger accounts. You will do this by working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with our current commercial policy while focusing on the following key objectives:
- To directly manage Key Account(s), in accordance with agreed targets, goals, and company guidelines, eliciting customer needs and selling our key products and services.
- To ensure understanding of all customer organizations, business models, and decision-making processes.
- To engage the KN network proactively and work closely with the NA KAMs in your assigned partner countries.
- To manage accounts not only in Vietnam but also in Indonesia, ensuring consistent service delivery, account development, and alignment with regional strategies.
- To negotiate rates with customers in alignment with the business units (BU), ensuring rate sheets are documented and maintained as needed by the BUs.
- To ensure compliance with our sales management processes and systems, ensuring correct and timely updates in our customer relationship system (CRM).
- To monitor monthly performance against set targets, ensuring that immediate actions address deviations.
- To ensure that account plan(s) are in place based on internal processes and templates, which are signed off by the respective sales manager.
- To manage and support efficiently all RFQs by obtaining strong support from the Trade Management / Pricing teams.
- To effectively hand over and transition new business into operations to ensure that customer requirements and company commitments are met.
- To conduct regular and structured review sessions with assigned customers including processes for continuous improvement and innovation, and review of customer strategy and priorities to deliver operational excellence.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor degree in International Business and/or Supply Chain or relevant
- At least 05 years of experience in Sales at Freight Forwarding/ Shipping lines with a successful track record
- Excellent communication and influencing/ negotiation skills and Japanese/Korean Speaking
- Build up relationship internal and external; highly organized with the ability to wear multiple hats in a fast moving environment and drive performance and build differentiators.
- Ability of managing multiple tasks under time pressure with positive attitude
