To plan and manage land transport operations according to established schedules, ensuring goods reach customers accurately, on time, and at the most cost-effective rates, while resolving daily operational challenges.
How you create impact
Truck Asset Control
- Monitor and manage truck fleet utilization to maximize operational efficiency.
- Ensure all vehicles are properly registered, insured, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and vehicle servicing.
- Maintain accurate fleet records including vehicle history, maintenance schedules, fuel consumption, and operating costs.
- Monitor vehicle condition and recommend replacement, disposal, or acquisition plans.
- Control fleet documentation and ensure audit readiness.
- Manage driver allocation and scheduling based on operational requirements.
- Monitor driver attendance, performance, productivity, and compliance with company regulations.
- Ensure drivers possess valid licenses, permits, and required certifications.
- Conduct driver orientation, training, and continuous development programs.
- Promote road safety awareness and safe driving practices.
- Investigate driver-related incidents, accidents, and non-compliance cases.
- Coordinate daily transport operations to achieve service commitments and delivery performance KPIs.
- Monitor route execution and vehicle movement through transportation management systems and GPS tools.
- Handle operational disruptions and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to customer SOPs and company operational standards.
- Support contingency planning during peak periods and emergency situations.
- Monitor transportation costs including fuel, tolls, repairs, and subcontracting expenses.
- Analyze fleet and driver performance indicators.
- Prepare operational reports and recommend improvement initiatives.
- Support budget planning and cost optimization projects.
- Drive productivity and efficiency improvements within the fleet operation.
- Ensure compliance with transportation laws, road regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct safety inspections and support accident prevention programs.
- Maintain records for audits and regulatory inspections.
- Monitor and report Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) performance.
What we would like you to bring
Years of Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in road logistics, transportation, and fleet management.
Industry Experience: Experience in Fleet management systems, GPS tracking, and logistics software.
Computer Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Communication skills: Thai and English.
