  • Ensure carrier service quality and proactively address operational or performance issues.
  • Support and guide country and regional stakeholders through market engagement and go-to-market activities.
  • Act as the central trade contact for all Kuehne+Nagel sea freight stations within scope.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Key Account Management, and regional management, including ownership of selected key target customers and RFQ processes.
  • Drive and support digital initiatives to improve efficiency, transparency, and competitive advantage.

What we would like you to bring

  • Completed vocational training or higher education in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in trade management, carrier procurement, or sea freight operations.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and commercial skills with a focus on yield and market share development.
  • Solid understanding of supply-and-demand dynamics within international sea freight markets.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, international stakeholder environment.
  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement, customer excellence, and strategic objectives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent command of English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
