As the Global Air Logistics OKAM Team Lead, you will be responsible for driving the transformation and operational excellence of our OKAM organization. You will lead a team of Global and Network OKAMs, and provide dotted-line leadership to National OKAMs across MA-C. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional service delivery to key accounts through adherence to global standards, fostering collaboration, and enabling the future-state OKAM organization.
How you create impact
- Lead the transition from the current OKAM structure to the future-state organization.
- Ensure adherence to the Global OKAM framework, standards, and processes for global consistency.
- Oversee the allocation of resources and accounts to ensure optimal OKAM coverage and performance.
- Drive seamless integration between Air and Sea Logistics to ensure balanced representation.
- Foster collaboration between OKAMs and the Operational Key Account Specialist (OKAS) team for efficiency.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and performance management to Global, Network, and National OKAMs.
- Optimize account management processes to enhance scalability, efficiency, and customer alignment.
- Serve as an escalation point for challenges impacting service delivery or team performance.
What we would like you to bring
- Several years of experience within Kuehne + Nagel (2–5 years) and customer collaboration.
- Strong background in logistics, with expertise in Air and/or Sea Logistics.
- Proven leadership in managing both direct and virtual teams across global locations.
- Project management experience, ideally within Key Account Management.
- Industry knowledge in at least one vertical: High Tech, Healthcare, or Aerospace.
- Change management skills with the ability to drive organizational transformation.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, and willingness to travel.
