Global Air Logistics Pricing Lead

Responsibility for managing a selective account portfolio, from initial engagement to pricing. This includes early engagement with stakeholders, creating effective pricing strategies and ensuring this is clearly translated to customer. Additionally, collaborating with vertical subteams, visiting customers, leveraging expertise to benefit both Sales and BUFA.

How you create impact

  • Engage with Customers, Sales, SMEs, and BUFA Management regarding pricing reviews
  • Provide Tender Consultancy to Customers and, if needed, participate in tender meetings with the Account Owner
  • Estimate fit-for-purpose market rates for individual portfolio accounts
  • Create BID summaries for the Commercial Leadership to review
  • Proactively share vertical pricing experience within the organization
  • Managing Pricing reviews for clearly define selected account and where others request support to BUFA rate management team/Sales organization. 

What we would like you to bring

  • 2–5 years of experience in Project Management or managing projects and driving results.
  • 2–5 years working in global environments.
  • Leadership: 0–2 years of experience leading direct or virtual teams.
  • 2–5 years in Air Logistics Expertise, air freight or related logistics functions.
  • Sales Collaboration: Up to 2 years of experience supporting sales or commercial teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: 2–5 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Proven negotiation skills for pricing and tender discussions.
  • Solid product knowledge of air logistics services and solutions.
  • Ability to influence and build consensus across diverse teams.
  • Fluent in English; local language proficiency is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or International Business (Master’s or MBA preferred).
