Quality Specialist - Healthcare Logistics

Kuehne+Nagel is one of the world's leading logistics providers. For our healthcare-focused Contract Logistics site in Geel, we are looking for a Quality Specialist to join our Quality team.

In this role, you will help ensure that quality processes, compliance requirements, and healthcare standards are maintained across our operations. You will work closely with Operations, Customer Service, Warehouse teams, and customers to investigate quality issues, support audits, improve processes, and ensure compliance with GDP, GMP, and ISO standards.

This position is ideal for someone looking to further develop a career in Quality Assurance within a regulated healthcare environment. Previous logistics experience is not required; candidates from healthcare, pharmaceutical, food, or other regulated industries are encouraged to apply.

 

 

As a Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the site's Quality Management System while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and customer requirements.You ensure that quality processes are properly implemented and followed, including the handling of deviations, complaints, investigations, and CAPA actions. Working closely with multiple departments, you support compliance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.You contribute to audit readiness and maintain key quality documentation such as procedures, work instructions, and compliance records. In addition, you are involved in risk assessments, change controls, and validation-related activities.You also deliver quality-related training and support the implementation of new customers and processes. By monitoring quality KPIs and reporting, you help drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the site.

How you create impact

  • Manage and follow up quality-related complaints, deviations, investigations, and CAPA actions
  • Support internal, customer, ISO, GDP, and GMP audits and ensure audit readiness
  • Monitor compliance with quality systems, healthcare regulations, and customer requirements
  • Prepare risk assessments, change controls, qualifications, validations, and quality documentation
  • Develop, review, and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and compliance records
  • Deliver quality-related training programs, including GMP, GDP, and procedural training
  • Support implementation of new customers, processes, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain quality KPIs, reporting, and documentation to support continuous improvement efforts

What we would like you to bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Food Science, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • Initial experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Compliance, or another quality-related role within a regulated environment
  • Basic understanding of GMP, GDP, ISO, or other quality management systems
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a compliance-focused mindset
  • Fluent English skills; Dutch is considered an advantage
