Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate and confirm transport bookings to ensure timely and accurate delivery to the final customer. This includes preparing, validating, and distributing all necessary documents, resolving any issues that may impact delivery, and supporting the team to maintain efficient and reliable service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Transport Booking: Create and confirm transport orders to ensure delivery to the final customer.
  • Document Handling: Prepare, validate, and distribute all required import documents to relevant parties.
  • Issue Resolution: Track shipment status, identify any issues, and coordinate quick resolutions.
  • Customer Support: Assist Customer Service with managing incidents and exceptions.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Supplier Performance: Identify performance issues with suppliers and suggest improvements.
  • System Updates: Ensure shipment information is updated in the system.
  • Team Support: Act as a mentor and assist team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Freight Forwarding, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Sea Logistics or a similar role.
  • Previous experience in Shipping/International freight forwarding industry in airfreight and/or ocean-freight / Import operational and/or Cartage roles is an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of Freight Forwarding and Logistics in general;
  • Proficient in MS Outlook and basic Microsoft Excel.
  • Good understanding of international geography and shipping operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-oriented mindset.
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
  • Well-organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Willing to work on Philippine public holidays as required.
