Job Purpose
The primary responsibility of this task is to handle ticket requests for updating sailing details. This involves reviewing a list of shipments that need to be checked and updated as necessary. These tasks must be performed following the Standard Operating Procedures and should meet the established performance and productivity targets.
Job Responsibilities
- Review the ticket and examine the request that has been submitted.
- Verify if the request aligns with the sailing details posted on the carrier's website.
- If the request does not match the information on the carrier's site, reject the ticket and inform the requester of the reason for the rejection
- If the request matches the details on the carrier site, proceed in updating the system.
- For tickets that involve multiple tracking numbers, the operator will provide an estimated time for when the request can be completed.
- Maintain communication with his/her Team Leader and report activities, concerns, and issues related to the process he/she is handling.
- Complete tasks on time with accuracy to achieve KPIs (Performance and Productivity)
- Ensure that all tickets are completed within the given SLA.
- Strictly adhere to Company Guidelines and Policies as outlined in the Consequence Management Framework.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree holder
- 2-3 years logistics background
- Good communication skills
- Basic Knowledge with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Cognitive Skills and Attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Adaptable in a fast-paced industry
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Possessing a positive can-do attitude.
- Work on shifts (weekdays, weekends or public holidays) & overtime as needed
