The Continuous Improvement Specialist will support warehousing and distribution operations across Australia by driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives under the KN Excellence framework.
Based in our Eastern Creek Site in NSW, this role will work closely with operational leadership teams to identify improvement opportunities, implement structured continuous improvement programs, and support long-term productivity and quality enhancement initiatives across Contract Logistics sites.
Responsibilities
- Deliver training and upskilling programs on productivity improvement tools and KN Excellence methodologies.
- Support implementation of annual operational excellence and certification activities across sites within scope.
- Validate and assess and implement continuous improvement projects with focus on productivity, quality, and cost savings targets.
- Lead Deep Dive Value Stream Analysis (DDVSA) activities across warehouse and distribution operations.
- Deploy and monitor KN Excellence certification roadmaps across operational sites.
- Drive and monitor Kaizen activities focused on productivity, process optimisation, and quality improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify operational inefficiencies and implement sustainable improvements.
- Support operational reporting and continuous improvement performance tracking activities.
- Contribute to long-term operational excellence strategy across the Contract Logistics business in Australia.
Requirements
- Experience within Contract Logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain operational excellence environments.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a nice to have
- Experience leading continuous improvement, Kaizen, Lean, or operational excellence initiatives.
- Strong analytical and process-mapping capability.
- Experience coaching or training operational teams on improvement methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple improvement initiatives across different operational environments.
- Exposure to warehousing, distribution, or logistics operations is highly desirable.
