Are you passionate about international logistics and ensuring shipments move seamlessly across the globe? We're looking for an Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist to join our Air Logistics team and play a critical role in coordinating international airfreight shipments while delivering exceptional operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will manage transportation activities from booking through delivery, ensuring shipments are handled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations and company standards. You'll work closely with carriers, gateway operations, customs teams, warehouses, customer care teams, and global partners to provide world-class logistics solutions.
How you create impact
- Coordinate and manage international airfreight shipments from origin to destination.
- Arrange bookings with airlines, gateways, and transportation providers.
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate shipping documentation.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays or service issues.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Track and update shipment information within operational systems.
- Maintain accurate operational and financial records.
- Collaborate with carriers, warehouses, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders.
- Support customer onboarding, account implementation, and service delivery initiatives.
- Escalate operational challenges and assist with issue resolution.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service performance.
- Support automation, transportation management systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to cost-saving efforts while maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Participate in projects that enhance operational effectiveness and overall service quality.
What we would like you to bring
- Experience in airfreight forwarding, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
- Strong understanding of international airfreight processes and documentation.
- Knowledge of airline booking procedures, routing, and transportation regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in operational and transportation management systems.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Preferred Background
- Degree, diploma, or professional training in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 2 years of freight forwarding or logistics experience.
- Knowledge of customs, airline, and transportation regulations.
- Experience working with carriers, vendors, and global logistics partners.
