How you create impact
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Customer Care Specialists; drive a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Monitor team performance using KPIs (on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, escalation resolution) and manage daily workload, staffing, and priorities
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Ensure end-to-end ownership of healthcare customer accounts across the team; act as escalation point for critical issues and service failures
- Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth through proactive engagement and relationship management
- Oversee customer onboarding and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Ensure accurate execution of shipment coordination, bookings, documentation, compliance, and exception management
- Monitor service performance against SLAs and ensure alignment with Operational Care Centers (OCC)
- Maintain visibility and reporting across all shipments
- Ensure compliance with GxP/GDP healthcare standards, air freight regulations, and internal SOPs
- Support audits, CAPA processes, and ongoing compliance improvements; maintain team training standards
- Support account profitability through quote oversight and identification of upsell/cross-sell opportunities
- Partner with Sales on strategic accounts and RFQs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implement SOPs, and optimize workflows to enhance KPI performance, productivity, and cost efficiency
What we would like you to bring
- 3–5+ years in air freight / customer care / freight forwarding
- 1–3+ years in leadership or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of Air import/export operations
- Strong knowledge of Healthcare logistics & compliance (GxP/GDP preferred)
- Experience managing customer relationships and escalationsKPI-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management
- Customer-focused with strong relationship management skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to support growth, retention, and profitability
- Effective communication skills with the ability to manage customer expectations and escalations
- Self-driven with a proactive, “can-do” attitude and strong sense of ownership Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility
