For our location in Doesburg, we are looking for an experienced Freight Forwarder /Expediteur to strengthen our Road Logistics team. In this role, you manage the planning, booking and operational handling of shipments for several customers in the Medical Technology (MedTech) industry. Experience in road transport, groupage, FTL or LTL is an advantage, but motivated starters are also welcome.
You will work in a multi‑client cross‑dock operation, supporting a fast‑moving healthcare supply chain. Together with two direct colleagues, you ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service. This is a fulltime position with office in Doesburg.
Hoe impact te creëren
- Scheduling of our fleet of vehicles in local and regional transport, taking into account optimal capacity utilisation
- Holistic processing of transport orders including billing
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements regarding driving and rest periods, the Working Hours Act and dangerous goods regulations ADR
- Procurement and classification of load units
- Ensuring departures and compliance with loading and delivery dates
- Monitoring of express and hazardous goods transports
Wat we graag willen dat je meebrengt
- Completed training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk or a comparable qualification
- Initial experience in scheduling as well as good geographical knowledge in the local and regional area are desirable
- Confident handling of MS Office programs and, ideally, knowledge of freight forwarding software
- High customer orientation
- Strong communication skills and negotiation skills
- Independent and structured way of working as well as enjoyment of teamwork
