How you create impact

We are seeking a seasoned leader for our National Sea Logistics Finance team within the Operational Care Center (OCC). In this role, you will oversee Forwarding Subledger (FSL) management, Trade Payables, and Customer Billing while driving continuous improvement in quality, timeliness, and productivity. You will analyze financial and operational data to support strategic decision‑making, ensure customer requirements are met, and maintain strong KPI performance. This position requires exceptional organization, resilience under pressure, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels. As a key leader, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, coach and develop your team, and serve as the subject‑matter expert for operational finance processes to deliver best‑in‑class service aligned with global and national standards.

 

  • Provide leadership and direction to the Revenue Care team, including supervisors and managers, while fostering a positive employee experience.
  • Drive achievement of all National and Global financial KPIs, ensuring performance, productivity, and quality targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Address disciplinary and performance issues promptly and appropriately, ensuring accountability and alignment with company standards.
  • Oversee high‑quality Forwarding Subledger (FSL) processes to ensure accurate file‑level Gross Profit reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify root causes of recurring inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper File Status management, including accurate invoice and cost entry, accruals, correct use of loss codes, and clear file memos to support effective root‑cause analysis.
  • Lead projects focused on improving FSL quality, timeliness, and productivity, with clear metrics and measurable outcomes.
  • Promote strong collaboration across all Customer Care (CCL) locations, fostering a unified Sea Logistics team culture and a customer‑centric mindset.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase CCL satisfaction and confidence, supported by transparent and measurable performance indicators.
  • Ensure high‑quality invoicing processes, including proper customer onboarding and implementation, with a focus on automation and process streamlining.
  • Oversee timely acknowledgment and processing of vendor invoices, ensuring disputes are properly logged and resolved to maintain credit terms and supplier relationships.
  • Champion continuous improvement across all financial processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Maximize yield by preventing loss, managing unexpected operational expenses, and ensuring missed revenue opportunities are identified and billed to prevent margin erosion.
  • Identify low‑yield or low‑margin business and drive corrective actions in partnership with CCL, Pricing, and Trade teams.

What we would like you to bring

  • 10+ years of experience in sea logistics with deep expertise in P&L ownership, financial governance, and operational performance. 
  • Proven track record leading and developing large, complex teams while driving accountability, engagement and high quality results.
  • Extensive experience partnering with C-suite leaders and senior stakeholders, providing clear financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, manage KPIs, and improve performancw in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a strong focus on customer relationships and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Thrives under pressure and consistently champions continuous improvement, process optimization, and operational excellence.
