Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the fast-paced world of sea freight? Then we have the perfect role for you! Our import key account team in Rotterdam is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Care Specialist.
As a Customer Care Specialist, you are the vital link between our customers and internal departments. You’ll play a key role in managing commercial activities, customer communication, daily planning, and administrative processes. You’ll be responsible for your own customer portfolio and act as their primary point of contact.
How you create impact
- Manage daily customer interactions and build long-term relationships.
- Act as the vocal point for your customers and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate proactively with internal teams to meet customer needs.
- Coordinate documentation processes and liaise with the Operational Care Centre for timely and accurate follow-up.
- Oversee the onboarding of new customers in cooperation with sales and operations.
- Provide proactive advice and support with a solution-oriented and service-minded approach.
- Monitor customer KPIs and internal data, contribute to continuous improvement.
- Ensure efficient and accurate administrative handling and reporting setup.
What we would like you to bring
- Relevant work experience in sea freight (import) and/or customer service.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to set priorities.
- Independent and detail-oriented, yet a true team player.
- A customer-focused mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic work environment.
- Excellent command of English; Dutch is an advantage.
- Availability for a full-time position (40 hours per week).
