Manage the performance of the assigned Vertical of the Business Unit Contract Logistics. Support the development of the Business strategy and monitor the execution of tactical plans. Provide visibility to enable effective business decision‑making by leveraging all available data. Maintain risk‑management concepts and systems. Promote financial knowledge across the organization. Challenge the status quo. Analyze past performance to model future scenarios.
How you create impact
• Serve as a business advisor for the respective managerial functions related to the assigned vertical.
• Conduct reviews of the assigned business, including follow‑up and corrective actions, to ensure accurate P&L performance.
• Drive the investment request process and overall business investment cycle.
• Review and promote Productivity measures within the BO, BU, or FU, including weekly project reviews based on criteria aligned with NL.
• Support the design and implementation of operational KPIs.
• Proactively develop and propose restructuring initiatives, productivity improvements, and cost‑ and expense‑saving measures (in collaboration with Procurement and Real Estate).
• Ensure contract reviews prior to signature (customers and suppliers, GCT, Zero Failure process, Billing SOP, etc.).
• Maintain the level of PL integrity and accuracy necessary to support solid business decision‑making.
• Prepare the RFC exercise and Target process, including the development of the new format without KN Goals.
• Coordinate with Operational Mgmt and Working Capital Mgmt a proper Billing procedures and timely collection of accounts receivable, achieving zero billing differences.
• Follow up on Credit Limit requirements and review/prepare Business Cases when necessary.
• Provide the required ICS (Internal Controls) information for the assigned site.
• Support the Controlling Director with month‑end closing tasks, distribution and booking of orders, SQM, and FTEs.
• Register Claims, Rebates, provisions, and review Expenses during month‑end closing.
• Seek Working Capital improvements within the BU, including deferrals, billing differences, and bad debts.
• Create centers for new PLs, traffic codes, debtors, and Customer Mapping.
• Conduct visits to all sites within the assigned vertical.
What we would like you to bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience leading teams, with a focus on talent development and management.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in Contract Logistics.
