As a Credit Risk Supervisor, you will be responsible for effectively managing day-to-day credit risk and financial activities for assigned companies, helping to minimize bad debt and support healthy business growth. Working within our Knowledge Center, you will oversee credit risk processes, support sound decision-making, and ensure compliance with established financial and risk management standards.
How you create impact
In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting the company’s financial interests while driving effective credit risk management across multiple business units by:
- Supporting the KC Credit Risk Manager and NF/WC teams in achieving Compliance Plan and Risk Management Plan objectives.
- Leading and developing a team of Credit Risk Analysts, ensuring high performance, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Managing credit risk activities, including portfolio reviews, financial statement analysis, credit evaluations, and risk assessments to support sound business decisions.
- Coordinating credit insurance activities and maintaining effective communication regarding credit coverage requirements.
- Partnering with Branch Managers, Area Controllers, and Sales teams to proactively address and resolve complex credit-related matters.
- Delivering training programs and webinars on Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes through the KN Learning Platform.
- Monitoring productivity metrics and workload allocation to ensure alignment with global standards and operational requirements.
- Overseeing accounting-related activities, month-end and year-end closing processes, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Analyzing financial performance, identifying risk trends, and providing management with actionable insights on business health and exposure.
- Ensuring local Credit Work Instructions remain aligned with MOP requirements and applicable legal regulations.
- Collaborating closely with Credit Risk, Collections, and Finance stakeholders to optimize risk management and collection strategies.
- Reviewing and validating business cases submitted to local and global CFOs while providing backup support for NAM credit insurance activities.
- Taking ownership of additional projects and responsibilities that contribute to the continued success of the Credit Risk function.
What we would like you to bring
We are looking for an experienced credit risk professional with a strong analytical mindset, commercial awareness, and the ability to effectively lead teams and influence stakeholders. You combine sound financial expertise with a proactive, solution-oriented approach and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
- University degree or diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Risk Management designation is considered an advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Finance and Credit Management functions.
- Minimum 3 years of underwriting experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Strong expertise in risk assessment, credit evaluation, and financial analysis.
- Experience in corporate insurance underwriting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Structured, organized, and process-oriented approach to work.
- High standards of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive and business-critical information.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing performance and developing teams.
- Sound judgment and the ability to make balanced, risk-based decisions.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
