How you create impact

Under the direction of the Branch Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for supervising the receiving, picking/packing, and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. 

 

 

•    Supervise and coordinate unloading of inbound shipments.
•    Develop, implement and direct programs to promote a safety culture on site and to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property is a priority.
•    Manpower analytical skills – daily and weekly staff planning and scheduling to make sure that each task has adequate resources.
•    Conflict resolutions – responsible for resolving customer shipping and receiving issues.
•    Analyze reports to ensure profitability of customer account.
•    Communicate to the workforce on a daily basis including shift briefs.
•    Manage the workforce within the Warehouse Operation to ensure an efficient operation is maintained.
•    Supervise picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with the highest possible levels of quality and productivity.
•    Supervise unloading, receiving and put away processes in accordance with K+N and customer procedures.
•    Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all product is properly counted.
•    Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage and errors.
•    Promote and manage a strong Continuous Improvement ethos to generate ideas and projects.
•    Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.

What we would like you to bring

•    High School, High School Equivalent or Technical degree.
•    Must have Three (3) years of experience in a management or supervisory role.
•    Proficient MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook).
•    Ideal candidate will have prior experience in a healthcare warehouse or manufacturing environment

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
