Contract Logistics Shift Leader works within Contract Logistics. In this case, She/He will operate for adidas Campus South, our new fully automated warehouse located in Mantua, which, with over 130,000 square metres, will represent an unparalleled example of excellence and innovation in automated technology operations.
Contract Logistics Shift Leader will be part of the local Operations department and, in accordance with the Contract Logistics Operations Managers guidelines, will coordinate specific department’s areas to satisfy customers’ needs/requests and ensure the proper goods workflow while organizing spaces, equipment and managing small/medium size teams efficiently. In order to lead people efficiently, She/He will act as role model regarding operative activities, safety and HR topics.
How you create impact
- In line with Contract Logistics Operations Manager, plan, manage, organize, staff and coordinate department activities, attending to HR issues such as absence, attendance, sick leave and acting as point of contact for Safety rules
- Assess adequately all the workloads within allocated teams and resources on a day-to-day basis
- Monitor and pursue KPIs achievement related to assigned areas of management and productivity, consequently empower teams to deliver against their KPIs in order to reach warehouse and business goals
- Ensure that all company equipment and assets are handled in a responsible manner at all times.
- Make recommendations to Contract Logistics Operations Managers to improve program operations
- Interact and cooperate with other Contract Logistics Shift Leaders to organize the staff and all the activities in order to achieve business goals

What we would like you to bring
- 2 – 5 years’ experience in large scale (>300FTE) highly automated fulfilment operations with strong preference given to eCommerce / Fashion / Retail experience, preferably in multinational companies with matrix organizational structure
- Solid exposure to analytical and metric oriented work contexts with a deep predisposition for people engagement and respect of safety rules.
- Experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers, subordinates and leadership in operational and fast paced work environments
- Expertise with people management related to small/medium size teams (20 up to 50), preferably in logistics and/or productive work environments, with a focus on people engagement and development.
