The Contract Logistics Shift Leader plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of warehouse operations while supporting customer performance within a multi-customer site.
This is a hands-on, flexible role that sits between operations and customer delivery - ideal for someone who can lead the floor while understanding customer requirements, service levels, and operational performance.
You will work closely with both warehouse teams and customer stakeholders to ensure service excellence, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement across operations.
How you create impact
- Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations across inbound, outbound, and inventory activities.
- Act as a key operational contact for assigned customer accounts, suporting service delivery and issue resolution.
- Support customer requirements by ensuring operational execution aligns with agreed service levels.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating where required to ensure minimal disruption.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, QSHE, and operational standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across both operations and customer processes.
What we would like you to bring
- 4-8 years of experience in contract logistics or warehousing.
- Experience in an operational account manager role within a 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) context.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, KPI management, and service delivery.
- Exposure to customer-facing responsibilities or account support is advantageous.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on, proactive mindset with the ability to work both operationally and strategically.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
