We are looking for a Responsible Pharmacist to lead quality processes in our secondary packaging facility located in Esenyurt, Istanbul, in compliance with the Turkish Ministry of Health regulations and international standards (GMP & GDP). Join this key position to ensure quality excellence in pharmaceutical storage and distribution operations.
You will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the Quality Management Systems across all stages of inbound and outbound pharmaceutical processes, in line with Turkish Ministry of Health regulations and international requirements.
Ensuring that working areas and equipment comply with local GMP guidelines, and that distribution activities meet GDP requirements, as well as maintaining product compliance with specifications throughout storage, will be among your core responsibilities.
How you create impact
- Establishing and managing a sustainable Quality Management System in line with national/international regulations and customer requirements;
- Performing regular audits to assess the effectiveness of the quality system and providing feedback to the Business Unit Manager and relevant stakeholders, while maintaining direct communication with customers;
- Managing, maintaining, and improving deviation management, CAPA, change control, and customer complaint systems;
- Driving process improvements through effective risk assessments and root cause analysis;
- Hosting and managing audits conducted by customers, third parties, and regulatory authorities;
- Participating in supplier selection and onboarding processes and ensuring compliance with quality requirements;
- Ensuring implementation and coordination of new or revised standards and procedures;
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health & safety, environmental, and asset protection requirements;
- Participating in global quality meetings and ensuring the localization of global practices.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (mandatory);
- At least 2 years of experience in a quality department within a licensed manufacturing site (not mandatory; development opportunities will be provided for strong Pharmacist candidates);
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and healthcare industry requirements (local & international);
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems;
- Ability to work in compliance with GMP and GDP guidelines;
- Strong leadership and team management skills;'
- Ability to lead and moderate meetings effectively;
- Preferably experience in quality management within pharmaceutical manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution service providers;
- Customer-oriented, proactive, and risk-based mindset;
- Good command of English.
