Contract Logistics Quality Manager - Pharmacist

As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. How you create impact

Quality Management

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive healthcare quality management system (QMS) in accordance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
  • Establish and implement quality control procedures and protocols to ensure adherence to product specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality objectives, monitor performance indicators, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
  • Monitor and analyse quality data, generating reports and metrics to track performance trends and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess quality risks within the logistics operations. Implement risk mitigation strategies and drive proactive measures to minimize potential quality issues.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure they meet our quality expectations.
  • Investigate and manage quality-related incidents, customer complaints, and non-conformance issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to raise awareness and promote a culture of quality and compliance among employees.

 

Regulatory Compliance

  • Stay updated with local, regional, and international regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices related to pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Proactively ensure our operations comply with all applicable requirements.
  • Lead and ensure compliance with the requirements for licenses and certifications, maintaining their validity.

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify new projects and improvement opportunities to continuously enhance the Healthcare Quality Management System

 

External Engagement

  • Coordinate and participate in external audits and inspections, ensuring readiness and facilitating timely and successful completion.
  • Support the business development/commercial/sales team with quality matters during RFI/RFP/RFQ
  • Act as the key contact personnel for customers, for matters relating to quality

What we would like you to bring

  • (Mandatory) Pharmacist with a valid Korean license
  • Working at the warehouse in Pyeongtaek
  • Business-level English proficiency is preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in quality management within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, preferably within a logistics environment.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and quality standards, such as Good Distribution Practice (GDP), ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical and medical device transportation and storage requirements, including temperature-controlled environments and cold chain management.
  • Experience in conducting audits, inspections, and managing regulatory compliance activities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory authorities.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and precision in quality management processes.
  • Good presentation skills – able to effectively communicate in both speaking engagements as well as email communication for both internal and external parties
