As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Contract Logistics Warehouse Lead at Kuehne+Nagel holds a crucial and diverse role in ensuring the efficient execution of all warehouse logistics operations. This position is accountable for maintaining smooth and effective processes that consistently align with the company’s high standards for service, quality, and cost efficiency. The Warehouse Lead is responsible for managing the accurate and timely flow of materials within the facility, including loading and unloading goods using various equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and other heavy material handling tools. Beyond these operational duties, the Warehouse Lead oversees essential warehouse activities such as receiving, storage, picking, packing, verification, shipping, manifesting, and screening, guaranteeing precision and compliance throughout each phase. The role also involves active collaboration with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, reduce delays, and boost productivity. A critical component of the position is ensuring strict compliance with safety guidelines and regulatory standards to uphold a secure work environment for all staff. Additionally, the Warehouse Lead proactively seeks opportunities to enhance processes and applies best practices to foster ongoing operational improvement. You will work Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm and will be paid weekly at $21.00 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilties
- Make recommendations to improve operations and processes
- Operate material handling equipment
- Lead a team of Warehouse Associates
- Foster a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel included, valued, and safe
- Help develop processes to ensure the efficient operation and use of all warehouse equipment
- Implement processes to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property
- Oversee the warehouse housekeeping program
- Ensure current, accurate inventory control and that customer orders are picked and shipped
- Follow health and safety policies that follow company and OSHA regulations
- Be available to work overtime and weekends
What we would like you to bring
Skills and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role
- Forklift operating experience preferred
- Basic technical and math skills
