Are you a hands-on Blue Yonder WMS Developer who enjoys solving complex warehouse technology challenges and building scalable solutions? We are looking for a Solution Engineer – Development to join our team in Chennai, with a strong focus on Blue Yonder Discrete WMS, MOCA development and cloud-based WMS solutions. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, implement and continuously improve solutions that support warehouse and logistics operations.
How you create impact
- Design, develop and maintain custom applications, extensions and services within Blue Yonder WMS / KN SwiftLOG environments.
- Develop and troubleshoot MOCA solutions and use tools such as MOCA Console and Trace Analyzer to investigate and resolve issues.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable and robust solutions.
- Contribute to solution design, technical specifications, interfaces and data flows.
- Develop and support API / EDI integrations with internal and external systems.
- Apply Java development skills to build and enhance application components.
- Participate across the full SDLC, including development, testing, deployment, release and production support.
- Support testing activities including Unit, System, Integration, UAT and Performance Testing.
- Conduct root-cause analysis, troubleshoot defects and implement effective technical resolutions.
- Support cloud-based WMS implementations and solutions, ensuring performance, reliability and scalability.
- Work with Jenkins / CI-CD tools to support efficient and controlled deployments.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support, knowledge transfer and documentation during implementation and stabilisation.
- Identify opportunities for optimisation, continuous improvement and technical debt reduction.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet functional, non-functional and operational requirements.
What we would like you to bring
- Ideally 5–10 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on Blue Yonder WMS development.
- Experience with Blue Yonder Discrete WMS
- Strong MOCA development and troubleshooting experience
- Solid understanding of end-to-end WMS processes
- Experience with API / EDI integrations
- Hands-on Java development experience
- Experience with cloud-based WMS implementations / solutions
- Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
- Strong understanding of development, testing, deployment and production support
