Role

To supervise a team that performs compilation of Import Declarations in an accurate and timely manner as per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and ensure that the team meets service expectations in accordance with agreed KPIs.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform Daily Review / Huddles and update results in KN Wiki.
• Handles RT and other technical issues.
• Performs skills assessments using Skill Matrix and submits to manager for follow up.
• Performs daily quality checks to ensure high level of work quality and productivity.
• Trains new hires and ad-hoc topics where needed.
• Understands new tasks that are migrated and ensures instructions are understood by the team. 
• Reviews individual team performance and reports any issues/feedback to the manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration
• With at least 3 years of managerial experience in a similar position
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of Incoterms
• Basic knowledge of Harmonized Tariff Schedule and Customs regulations
• Fluency in English- both verbal and written
• Task oriented and keen to details
• Driving continuous improvement
• Ability to work with demanding deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Preferable to have operational knowledge of either airfreight, sea freight or road freight
• A previous experience in the Customs Brokerage industry is preferred
