GS Air Logistics System First Level Support Specialist

Role

The GS FLS Specialist is responsible to process and resolve frontline support and set up requests related to any of the Air Logistics operational systems in use, including local applications, by following validated support working instructions or specific guidelines in cooperation with the corporate or national air logistics process & system teams and the other KNGS support teams.

Your Responsibilities

Functional & quality related main responsibilities:

  • Precisely execute the working instructions in place and follow the implemented guidelines in collaboration with the involved stakeholders
  • Proactive and comprehensive collaboration with any other GS team member to consistently achieve own and shared responsibilities
  • Execute any support and setup task "in scope", including as example: system troubleshooting, setup, functional testing, system reporting, user administration
  • Achieve productivity and quality KPI's
  • Provide the required support service by using the company communication tools and systems
  • Keep fluent communication with the TL, the SSM and requestors in a professional manner as needed
  • Provide functional and organizational guidance to the involved requestors
  • Share with the team knowledge and best practices, get information on services performed and any other, provide suggestion on existing Wi and guidelines with the aim to improve them
  • Act as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders for all topics related to the usage of operational systems in their geographical area of responsibility
  • Collect and pass information to the next support level for issues that are beyond the defined competency or need  further analysis
  • Always keep up-to-date on new development features in the systems and actively promote and implement them to operational staff, in alignment with the Training teams
  • Pro-actively look for improvements in the systems to increase automation and efficiency of the operational process, in alignment with the Process teams
  • Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor

People & training related main responsibilities:

  • Attend to the mandatory trainings
  • Proactively seek for information and request for any training that could improve the assigned tasks and responsibilities
  • Support the SSM and TL to guide and train the new team members in order to acquire the necessary basic knowledge to execute the assigned tasks
  • Proactively use the existing knowledge base tools (WIKI, Teams, etc.) to keep the knowledge level up to date

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or any related field
  • Basic Knowledge of main Air Logistics system
  • Advanced expertise in methods and tools to collaborate and visualize
  • Ability to understand and interpret business processes
  • High knowledge of common PC software and tools
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Problem Solutions oriented, proactive, analytical skills, IT minded
  • Self-disciplined and motivated to grow and learn
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Able to understand urgency and prioritize
  • Able to do overtime and/or work on holidays
  • Able to work on weekends
