Lead the national Kuehne+Nagel QSHE Organization, with a remit to ensure the delivery of measurable, reliable and predictable operational quality to customers. Ensure processes from the integrated management system (IMS) are established, implemented and maintained on all levels of the national organization.

How you create impact

  • Ensure implementation of IMS and applicable QSHE processes and standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) across the country
  • Monitor and track national QSHE targets, including KN Solutions and customer-related initiatives
  • Evaluate QSHE KPI performance monthly using tools like TIP, audits, HSE, security metrics, and customer feedback
  • Provide KPI insights to BU/FU management to support decision-making
  • Oversee national QSHE budget and resource allocation, including training needs
  • Lead or support investigations into QSHE incidents (H&S, security, DG)
  • Liaise with external parties (customers, authorities, certification bodies, suppliers) on QSHE, security, and DG matters
  • Collaborate with national BU/FU managers to ensure consistent QSHE implementation
  • Coordinate and host internal/external audits (KN vendors, customers, certification bodies)
  • Drive synergies across BU/FUs and align with global QSHE team
  • Approve national IMS audit plan and set up annual QSHE training programs
  • Manage and coach the national QSHE team, including performance appraisals and skill development
  • Support business continuity planning and execution at the national level

What we would like you to bring

  • Degree or Master’s in Logistics, Supply Chain, or QSHE-related fieldMinimum 5+ years in EHS management
  • Strong background in implementing and maintaining Integrated Management Systems (IMS)
  • Solid understanding of freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain operations
  • Familiarity with project management, process engineering, and improvement methodologies
  • Proven ability to lead workshops and training sessions
  • Comfortable working across cultures and managing cross-functional interfaces
  • Capable of driving measurable results within a matrix organization
  • Strong execution mindset with a focus on delivering outcomes within agreed timelines
