As a National Contract Logistics Customer Solutions Analyst, you manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing this with precision, you contribute not only to the success of your team but also to the daily operations and achievements in the warehouse and distribution centers. How you create impact
- Lead a workflow within complex warehouse design projects.
- Analyze and research logistics subprocesses and entire supply chains for both existing and new customers, based on available data and your knowledge of warehouse solutions from relevant experience.
- (Re)design logistics solutions and improvements for subprocesses and full supply chains (inbound and outbound processes, warehouse and distribution automation, semi-production processes, warehouse layouts, etc.).
- Optimize existing processes by acting as a logistics expert within continuous improvement projects executed by operational teams.
- Lead implementations or site optimizations to successful outcomes. Prepare full implementation and project plans and follow up on all steps to ensure realization according to schedule and within budget.
- Solve and coordinate issues that arise during the design or implementation phase.
- Use the Global Calculation Tool (GCT) and supporting tools for warehouse calculations to develop logistics solutions.
- Perform activity-based cost calculations and support proactive and competitive responses to tenders (RFQs).
- Present advanced solutions to customers, participate in commercial discussions, and convince stakeholders of the strengths of a warehouse solution.
What we would like you to bring
- A master’s degree in logistics or equivalent experience and thinking level, with at least 3 years of experience in designing warehouse and supply chain solutions.
- Proven experience in production or logistics engineering; knowledge of automated warehouses and logistics IT solutions is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility. Capable of managing larger projects, including delegating and coordinating tasks.
- Extensive experience with cost calculations and rate setting.
- Strong communication skills: able to tackle problems, lead project meetings, and deliver persuasive presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel; basic experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
