We are looking for a Customs Business Process Specialist to join our team and drive the continuous improvement of our customs operations. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting operational teams, contributing directly to efficiency and performance across our customs activities.
How you create impact
- Design, standardize, and continuously improve customs processes to enhance efficiency and compliance
- Analyze existing workflows and identify optimization opportunities across import, export, and transit activities
- Support operational teams in achieving productivity and performance targets
- Ensure full compliance with local and international customs regulations and keep processes up to date
- Drive the implementation of digital tools and automation
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Lead projects related to process improvement, system implementation, and innovation
What we would like you to bring
- Proven experience in customs operations, brokerage, or business process management
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Experience in process optimization, continuous improvement, or project management
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in a cross-functional environment
- Affinity with digital tools and customs systems (e.g. Cargowise or similar)
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
