Customs Coordinator

This position is responsible for coordinating customs operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, operational accuracy, and high service standards for clients and internal stakeholders. We are seeking professionals with strong experience in customs agencies, import processes, and nationalization operations within dynamic logistics environments. 

How you create impact

• Coordinate and monitor customs import and nationalization processes
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, internal procedures, and operational requirements
• Manage documentation and operational follow-up related to customs clearance activities
• Support communication and operational coordination with clients, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders
• Handle processes related to ICA and INVIMA requirements and validations
• Monitor operational timelines and support resolution of customs-related issues or discrepancies
• Ensure service quality and operational efficiency throughout the customs process
• Provide continuous follow-up and support across assigned customs operations

What we would like you to bring

• Minimum 5 years of experience in customs agencies or customs operations
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, sanction regimes, nationalization processes, and ICA/INVIMA procedures
• Experience managing clients and coordinating customs operational processes
• Previous experience in import operations, customs documentation, or customs registrations is highly valued
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in dynamic operational environments and manage multiple priorities
• English is considered a plus but is not mandatory for the position
