As a Sea Logistics Intermodal Expert, you will play a key role in coordinating and monitoring intermodal transportation operations, ensuring efficient cargo movements and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

You will work closely with customers, transportation providers, terminals, and internal operational teams to ensure shipments are properly coordinated, tracked, and executed according to service requirements. Through proactive communication, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving, you will contribute to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

How you create impact

• Coordinate and monitor intermodal transportation operations, ensuring the smooth and timely execution of cargo movements.

• Receive, review, and validate transportation orders, ensuring all required information and documentation are complete and accurate.

• Enter and maintain shipment information in the relevant operational systems, ensuring data accuracy and proper order management.

• Coordinate load and empty container movements with dispatch teams, transportation providers, customers, and terminals.

• Schedule and manage terminal appointments through customer and terminal platforms to facilitate efficient transportation operations.

• Monitor shipments throughout the transportation process, proactively identifying delays, operational exceptions, and potential service disruptions.

• Maintain regular communication with customers and internal stakeholders, providing timely updates regarding shipment status, operational requirements, and changes.

• Collaborate closely with Dispatch, Operations, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless coordination of transportation activities.

• Ensure all operational documentation is properly reviewed, updated, and maintained.

• Proactively address operational challenges, coordinate solutions, and follow up on incidents to minimize service disruptions.

• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, service levels, and customer experience.

What we would like you to bring

• Background in International Business, Logistics, Foreign Trade, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, intermodal operations, or customer service within the logistics industry.

• Knowledge of transportation coordination, shipment tracking, container movements, and terminal operations.

• Experience handling customer orders, operational documentation, and transportation-related information.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify operational challenges and coordinate effective solutions.

• Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining accountability, flexibility, and a strong customer-focused approach.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate operational systems, customer portals, and transportation platforms.

• Good command of English.
