The Business Requirements Assistant is a key member of the Business Change team within Contract Logistics – Government & Defence. This role supports the end-to-end management of Requirements Change Forms (RCFs) and Logistics Service Requests (LSRs), ensuring that customer requirements are processed accurately and efficiently from submission through to service offer.
How you create impact
• Process Requirements Change Forms (RCFs) and Logistics Service Requests (LSRs) accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Investigate and validate data using systems such as BObs, BODMS, Dispatcher, and BWIMS, and consult subject matter experts where necessary.
• Collaborate with Operations and Finance teams to gather cost projections and ensure smooth workflow.
• Draft offer letters for customers based on processed RCFs and LSRs.
• Maintain and update databases for RCFs and LSRs to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
• Send weekly trackers to Operations highlighting outstanding LSRs.
• Assist with stock placement analysis across the storage estate using system data and SME input.
• Support reporting and presentations for senior stakeholders by collating data on processing times, costs, and other metrics.
• Contribute to process improvement by maintaining documentation and supporting the development of the Business Requirements Team’s capabilities.
