As a Marine Lines Insurance Producer, you will drive revenue growth by developing new cargo insurance business, strengthening client relationships, and positioning Nacora as a trusted partner to logistics and supply chain customers.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Kuehne+Nagel sales teams while building your own pipeline of qualified prospects across your region. You’ll work within an experienced insurance leadership environment that offers strong support and deep expertise in cargo insurance program development and sales strategy.
How you create impact
In this client-facing sales role, you will identify, qualify, and close new cargo insurance opportunities while delivering tailored solutions that protect supply chains and mitigate risk. Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities using CRM insights and market intelligence.
- Receiving and qualifying leads and partnering with Kuehne+Nagel sales teams to convert opportunities efficiently.
- Delivering client presentations, conducting site visits, and hosting training sessions to strengthen customer engagement.
- Creating quotations and customized insurance solutions for cargo, storage, exhibition, and related risks.
- Monitoring sales pipelines, analyzing trends, and implementing strategies to improve conversion and retention.
- Collaborating with regional and national leadership to support strategic growth initiatives.
Travel requirement: 40% domestic travel.
What we would like you to bring
You are a consultative salesperson with strong business development instincts and a passion for helping clients manage risk. You thrive in a field‑based role and enjoy being the face of the organization. Desired qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in insurance brokerage or freight forwarding sales.
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Strong understanding of insurance sales, policy issuance, renewals, and premium billing.
- Demonstrated success in field‑based sales roles with the ability to build relationships and close business independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- A collaborative mindset and comfort working alongside internal teams, including Kuehne+Nagel sales and customer service.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
