As an Air Logistics Customer Care Specialist, you will be the main contact for customers, ensuring smooth shipment handling and a great customer experience. You will manage customer needs, coordinate shipments, and work closely with Sales and Operations to support strong partnerships and business growth.
How you create impact
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
- Manage customer inquiries and provide timely shipment updates.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively manage exceptions and escalations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, overseas offices, and service providers to ensure service delivery.
- Prepare and manage spot quotations for import and export air freight shipments.
- Support customer SOP implementation and compliance with agreed service requirements.
- Conduct customer visits and business reviews to strengthen customer relationships and understand business needs.
- Identify potential opportunities and collaborate with Sales teams to support customer growth and retention.
- Work closely with Air Logistics and Sea Logistics teams to deliver integrated solutions where required.
- Maintain accurate customer and shipment information within company systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
What we would like you to bring
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Air Freight Forwarding, Customer Management, or Freight Operations.
- Good understanding of Air Import and Export processes.
- Experience managing customer communication and shipment coordination.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage operational issues and customer escalations.
- Commercial mindset with an interest in supporting customer growth opportunities.
- Knowledge of the Batam logistics market would be an advantage.
- Experience supporting global customers is preferred.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
