We are looking for a Quality Specialist to join our Contract Logistics team as we launch our brand new warehouse in Çatalca, Istanbul this September. Before the site goes live, you will begin your journey at our Headquarter in Başakşehir, giving you the perfect opportunity to get fully trained, integrated, and ready to take ownership of quality processes from day one in Çatalca. As a Quality Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our quality management systems. You will oversee documentation, conduct regular site inspections, support ISO and AEO audit processes, and drive corrective and preventive actions through root cause analysis. Working closely with operations, you will help maintain high standards in quality management systems, customer satisfaction, and overall compliance, contributing to a culture of quality across the warehouse.
How you create impact
- Prepare, review, and update all documentation related to Quality Management Systems;
- Conduct regular warehouse site inspections and report findings;
- Ensure effective use and management of Kuehne+Nagel quality tools;
- Implement and maintain all quality system requirements and documentation on site;
- Prepare annual work plans and follow up on calibrations, analyses, and trainings;
- Deliver or coordinate timely Quality Management System trainings;
- Prepare management system performance reports and present them to QSHE and operations;
- Support ISO audit activities, coordinate with the QSHE team, and follow up on audit actions;
- Support AEO certification processes;
- Maintain Food Safety Management System activities;
- Follow up customer complaints and non conformities;
- Conduct root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective actions
What we would like you to bring
- Graduate of an engineering program or another relevant technical field;
- Solid knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001/14001/45001/27001/22000/22301, IFS, BRC, etc.);
- Preferably certified as an ISO 9001 Internal Auditor;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality department (FMCG experience is a plus);
- Preferably at least 1 year of experience in logistics, warehousing, or bonded warehouse operations;
- Strong analytical mindset with proven problem solving skills;
- Result oriented and able to perform well in a dynamic, fast paced environment;
- Proficient in MS Office applications;
- Skilled in conducting root cause analysis and driving corrective actions;
- Able to work actively on the warehouse as part of the operations team, with at least B2 level English proficiency.
