How you create impact
As a Road Logistics Specialist, you will oversee the tracking of road shipments across the USA. You will monitor shipment statuses, ensure accurate transit information, review billing, handle disputes, and manage accounts payable reports. This role requires strong analytical skills, understanding of transportation regulations, and networking with Kuehne-Nagel stations and industry carriers to identify growth opportunities. Some of the position expectations are the following:
- Oversee the tracking of road shipments in the USA.
- Monitor shipment statuses directly with carriers via phone and email.
- Inquire about shipment statuses and ensure accurate transit information for domestic shipments in US accounts.
- Monitor and review documents to manage and track shipments within our internal systems.
- Understand transportation regulations for decision-making.
- Review billing for both carriers and KN clients, handle disputes, and send invoices along with their respective documents.
- Review accounts payable reports for land shipments.
- Identify growth opportunities through continuous service improvement.
What we would like you to bring

- Freight Forwarding experience is preferred.
- Degree in logistics (Technical or bachelor’s degree) is preferred.
- English Proficiency (written and oral).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel and Outlook preferred).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to support cross-functional collaboration.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Hybrid work model.

This position is subject to a rotating schedule and shift, which may vary between day, night, or mixed shifts. Your days off will also be assigned by the company, and both your schedule and days off may be modified with a minimum notice of five (5) business days.
