How you create impact
As a Road Logistics Billing & Invoicing Specialist, you will upport billing operations for land transportation services. The role is responsible for reviewing carrier and customer billing, validating pricing and shipment details, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring the accurate and timely generation of invoices. This position plays a critical role in maintaining billing accuracy, meeting service level agreements, and supporting an exceptional customer experience. Some of the position expectations are the following:
- Review and validate billing information for carriers and customers, ensuring accuracy of rates, charges, and shipment details.
- Generate and process internal and customer invoices according to daily, weekly, and month-end billing schedules.
- Verify pricing and shipment data using internal systems and customer portals.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and data inconsistencies in a timely manner.
- Ensure invoice documentation is complete, accurate, and delivered to customers according to contractual requirements.
- Review accounts payable reports related to land transportation shipments and identify exceptions.
- Maintain compliance with company procedures, billing controls, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with transportation, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to support billing accuracy and process improvements.
- Support operational excellence by meeting billing deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Apply knowledge of transportation and logistics processes to support effective decision-making and issue resolution.
What we would like you to bring
- Freight Forwarding experience is preferred.
- Experience with billing systems.
- Invoice validation (rates, services, contracts,etc).
- A degree in logistics (Technical or bachelor’s degree) is preferred.
- English Proficiency (written and oral).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel and Outlook preferred).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to support cross-functional collaboration.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Under a Hybrid work model.
This position is subject to a rotating schedule and shift, which may vary between day, night, or mixed shifts. Your days off will also be assigned by the company, and both your schedule and days off may be modified with a minimum notice of five (5) business days.
